MyTradingVault
Options journaling & analysis

Every roll, linked back to where it started.

Most journals treat each trade as a new event. MyTradingVault reconstructs the whole chain — opens, rolls, partial rolls, merges — so a position you've managed for eight months reads as one story with one running P&L.

TastyTrade connects over read-only OAuth — your broker credentials never touch our servers. Support for additional brokers is in progress.

Trade journaling

Your book, reconciled against the broker.

Trades sync from your broker, get matched into positions, and stay organized by the strategies you actually trade — not by fill order.

  • Live open positions with per-leg P&L, marks and Greeks
  • Roll chains reconstructed automatically, including partial rolls and merges
  • Your own systems and tags, applied down to the leg
  • Realized P&L and cash flow by strategy, account or period
  • Every account in one book, with a shared account filter across them
Open positions · grouped by system and tag
Open Positions grouped by trading system — Hedge, Income Ladder and Weekly Premium — each with its tags, contract counts and day and open P&L, above a portfolio total.
The book opens by system, not by fill. Every spread sits under the strategy that put it on, contract counts and day and open P&L roll up the tree, and the portfolio total at the top is the sum of what you are actually carrying.
One chain, expanded · roll migration view
An expanded roll chain showing three streams: a 6340 put opened 7/6 and rolled 7/20, a 6310 put opened 7/20 and rolled 8/10, and a 6285 put still open — each row stamped Open or Roll.
One position, opened once and rolled twice. The engine walks the fills back to the origin open and lays the whole migration out as Stream A → B → C: 6340 rolled down to 6310, then to 6285, each stream carrying its own credit. Nothing here was tagged by hand — the chain is reconstructed from the broker's fills.
Realized P&L · daily, with cumulative curve
Realized P&L page: gross realized $9,588.00, commissions minus $254.00, fees minus $304.80, net realized $9,029.20, 61 wins to 14 losses, 81.3% win rate, and a cumulative curve over daily green and red bars.
Commissions and fees come out before the number you keep, and the curve shows the drawdown as plainly as the run-up. Filter the same view by symbol, system, tag or direction to see which part of the book actually paid.
Paper trading

Practice the mechanics, not just the thesis.

Paper accounts with their own books, as many as your strategies need. Build the same multi-leg tickets, work the same rolls, and see them journaled exactly as live trades would be — without money in the way.

  • Isolated paper book — never mixed with your live positions
  • Multi-leg tickets, rolls and closes with working orders
  • As many paper accounts as you want — run a different strategy in each
  • Link an account to one of your real ones and its buying power is tested against that account's own margin methodology: Reg T, portfolio margin / SPAN or cash
  • Import your live strategies, or build a fresh set to test
  • Journaled and reported with the same tools as live trades

Simulation

Ask what happens next — then ask it ten thousand times.

Stress a position or the whole book, then try the trade you have not made yet. Black–Scholes prices each leg across your scenario; Monte Carlo runs the distribution, so you see the spread of outcomes rather than one tidy line.

  • Black–Scholes pricing per leg, with Greeks through the scenario
  • Monte Carlo paths across your own volatility assumptions
  • Auto-roll rules, so a strategy compounds the way you'd trade it
  • Add a hypothetical hedge to your real book — drop in the put, spread or futures leg you are considering and watch what it does to the whole portfolio's P&L before you pay for it
  • Shock the underlying, IV or time and see the book respond

The hedge costs $640 of median outcome and two points of win rate — and cuts the bad tail by roughly two thirds. That is the trade-off, priced, before you place it.

Partnerships Coming soon

Run it as your own platform.

Partnerships for use of the system are coming. If you teach options or run a trading community, your members will be able to journal, practice and simulate inside a platform carrying your name — on your own domain, with your own database, operated by us. We are taking expressions of interest now and will come back to you as licensing opens.

  • Your name, logo and colours, on your own domain
  • A separate database — your members' data never mixed with anyone else's
  • You choose the plans and who gets what; we set what your licence includes
  • Your own admin console, and your own support and feature-request board
  • Infrastructure, backups, updates and monitoring stay with us

Pre-configured strategy templates will let you ship your own systems to your members, instead of asking them to rebuild yours.

Trading educators & communities

Tell us about your audience, which brokers they use, and what you want the platform to do for them. We'll add you to the list and come back with what a licensed instance includes and what it costs.
